In his two seasons with the then University of Southern Colorado, Reco Burt averaged 16.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.7 blocked shots per game as he competed in 50 games for the then-Indians … He pulled down a career 19 rebounds on Jan. 8, 1994, against UCCS … His 15 career double-doubles rank fourth all-time in program history … His career field goal percentage of 60.0 percent missed qualifying among the all-time leaders by 28 made 2-pointers, but the 60.0 percent field goal percentage would've ranked second all-time in program history … His single season field goal percentages of 60.0 in 1993-94 and 60.1 in 1994-95 are ranked 10th and 11th on the school's single-season charts … Named a two-time All-Conference selection, Burt was the Colorado Collegiate Conference's Most Outstanding Player as a senior in 1995 … Along with being the Colorado Collegiate Conference's Most Outstanding Player, Burt was also named an All-American that same season.
