1996 & 1997 Volleyball - Back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, first-ever NCAA appearances in school history - The two squads made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division II Championships ... The 1996 team set a school record with 27 wins in 32 matches and won both the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's West Division and postseason titles to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history ... In 1997, the team had its best statistical season in program historym setting school records in kills per set (15.77), assists (14.44) and digs (19.19) in the pre-rally scoring area ... CSU Pueblo finished the season with a 24-9 record and won the RMAC West Division title and placed second in the RMAC Tournament ... Cris Teeter set a school record in 1997 with 4.01 kills per set.Â
