Pack Golf Closes Historic Fall with Both Programs Ranked in National Top 25

PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo's men's and women's golf programs capped off a historic fall campaign with both squads earning national recognition, as each finished the semester ranked among the top 25 nationally according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd.

Men's Golf: No. 16 Nationally, Among South Central's Deepest Field

The CSU Pueblo men's golf team wrapped up its fall season ranked No. 16 in the nation, following a consistent stretch of results that featured three top-three team finishes against elite South Central Regional competition. The ThunderWolves currently sit fifth in the South Central Region, one of six programs ranked inside the national top 25, underscoring the depth of one of Division II's most competitive regions.

The Pack compiled a 41-13 overall record in Clippd's performance metrics, highlighted by the outstanding play of senior Marius Dosiere, who ranks 24th nationally and fifth regionally. The French standout captured his first individual title as a ThunderWolf at the Otter Invitational in Monterey Bay, California, and posted an impressive 70.1 scoring average to lead the team throughout the semester.

Head Coach Josh Koschke praised the program's performance and depth following the conclusion of the fall schedule:"The fall season was a success in many ways," Koschke said. "Our head-to-head record of 41-13 allowed us to earn a national ranking of 16, finish inside the top five in the South Central Region, and successfully navigate four events in five weeks, including three in a row to finish. We also added an international event in Mexico and successfully played, traveled, and competed to a third-place finish. Our fall success will allow us to build a spring schedule that lets us play anywhere we want—we don't need to chase teams or ranking points next spring. We also learned we can be very competitive with different lineups; our depth is our strength. Marius Dosiere got his first win as a ThunderWolf and showed the country what we already knew—he's really good!"

Women's Golf: Record-Breaking Fall Season at No. 16 Nationally

The CSU Pueblo women's golf team completed one of the finest semesters in school history, closing the fall ranked No. 16 nationally and No. 4 in the West Region. The ThunderWolves climbed as high as No. 11 nationally during the semester and posted a 46-2 overall record in Clippd's rankings, while competing in a region that includes six nationally ranked programs. Defending NCAA Division II National Champion Dallas Baptist leads the West Region and sits No. 2 nationally, setting the benchmark for one of the country's most competitive fields.

The Pack captured three tournament victories in four events, marking their highest fall ranking and win total in school history. The team was led by sophomore English standout Yale Lee, who finished the semester as the highest-ranked ThunderWolf, sitting No. 30 nationally and No. 6 in the West Region with a 73.1 scoring average.

She was joined by freshman Norwegian standout Thale Victoria Estensen, who ranks No. 39 nationally and No. 9 regionally. Estensen claimed her first collegiate victory at the Travis Roy Memorial in Wyoming and finished with a 73.5 scoring average, showcasing the Pack's international strength and depth.

Adding to the excitement, CSU Pueblo will have the privilege of hosting the 2026 NCAA Division II West Regional Championship next May at Pueblo Country Club, giving the ThunderWolves a home-course advantage as they aim for another postseason run.

Head Coach Tammy Lim reflected on her team's historic fall and the balance of experience and youth that fueled their rise:"I'm so proud of how this group approached every event this fall," Lim said. "From our returners setting the tone early to our freshmen stepping up immediately, everyone contributed to what became the most successful fall our program has ever had.The growth we saw on and off the course was incredible. Yale and Thale have been steady all semester and set a high standard for the team. Our depth continues to be a huge strength, and the way this group supports each other makes us confident heading into the spring. It's a bonus that we'll get to host the 2026 West Regional at Pueblo Country Club — there's nothing better than competing for a championship on your home course."

Looking Ahead

Under the leadership of head coaches Tammy Lim and Josh Koschke, CSU Pueblo golf has firmly established itself as a national contender on both sides. With experience, international talent, and momentum heading into the spring, the ThunderWolves look poised to make another statement when regional and national championship play begins in 2026.
