PUEBLO, Colo. (March 30, 2026) - The No. 13 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team put together a strong showing on its home course Monday, finishing the day tied for second place after two rounds of the Sam Proal Invite at the Pueblo Country Club.
The Pack carded rounds of 284-278 Monday and are tied with West Texas. Both schools are one stroke behind leader Colorado Christian.
The ThunderWolves were paced by an impressive performance from
Marius Dosiere, who leads the team and is second on the individual leaderboard at 7-under par through 36 holes. Dosiere's consistent play in the second round with an 8-under, helped anchor CSU Pueblo's position at the top heading into the final round.
Dosiere is two strokes behind Peyton Jones from Colorado Christian entering Tuesday's final round.
Archie Wyatt also delivered a key performance for the Pack, currently sitting in T-3rd place at four-under overall. Wyatt carded an 1-under round in his second trip through the course, keeping himself firmly in contention among the tournament's top finishers.
Paraic McGrath is 20th overall and scored rounds of even and 2-over, while
Kyle Leydon earned scores of +2 and +1 and sits in 22nd place. Their steady play has added valuable depth to CSU Pueblo's lineup.
Jake Johnston rounds out the ThunderWolves' scoring group, currently sitting in 44th place at six-over par.
CSU Pueblo will look to capitalize on their home-course advantage in the final round. The third and final round is set to begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Pueblo Country Club.
