PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo women's and men's golf programs continue to make national noise this fall, as both squads earned national rankings in the opening Scoreboard Powered by Clippd rankings.
The CSU Pueblo women's golf team achieved its highest national ranking in program history, coming in at No. 11 nationally and No. 2 in the West Region. The ThunderWolves have compiled a remarkable 38-2 overall record this fall according to Clippd's performance metrics.
Under head coach Tammy Lim, the Pack have won two of their first three tournaments this season — capturing team titles at The Swan Memorial in Denver and the Travis Roy Memorial in Wyoming — while also finishing third at the prestigious NCAA Division II West Region Preview hosted at Pueblo Country Club. The team will conclude its impressive fall slate next week in Hawaii, looking to build on its historic start.
Leading the charge for the women's squad is Norwegian freshman Thale Victoria Estensen, who has been sensational in her debut collegiate campaign. Estensen is currently ranked No. 22 nationally, the highest-ranked ThunderWolf on either side, boasting a 72.9 scoring average and earning an individual title earlier this fall in Wyoming.
On the men's side, CSU Pueblo men's golf, led by head coach Josh Koschke, enters the rankings at No. 18 nationally, continuing the program's tradition of excellence. The Pack have finished inside the top three in three of their four fall tournaments, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Otter Invitational in Seaside, California.
Senior Marius Dosiere, a standout from France, earned individual medalist honors at the Otter Invitational after posting rounds of 71-72-71. Dosiere leads the ThunderWolves with a national individual ranking of No. 25 and an impressive 69.9 scoring average through the fall.
Both programs have established themselves among the nation's elite, setting the tone for a promising spring season as CSU Pueblo continues to shine on the national golf stage.
