No. 13 ThunderWolves Dominate Palm Valley In Regular Season Finale In Arizona

GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf closed out the regular season in impressive fashion, turning in a dominant showing to finish runner-up at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, hosted by Western New Mexico at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona.

The ThunderWolves were steady from start to finish against a loaded 20-team field, posting rounds of 277 and 277 on Monday before closing with a six-under 282 on Tuesday to finish at 28-under par for the tournament. The Pack's consistency throughout the week secured a strong second-place finish, coming in behind Chico State, who claimed the team title by 11 strokes. CSU Pueblo also held off a late push from Cal State San Bernardino, finishing three shots clear of the Coyotes in third.

In a field packed with postseason competition, the ThunderWolves once again proved they are among the top contenders heading into championship season.

Leading the way was Marius Dosiere, who continued his remarkable campaign with another elite performance. The Frenchman fired rounds of 64, 69, and 72 to finish in a tie for third place individually, pacing the Pack for the week. Close behind him was senior captain Archie Wyatt, who delivered one of the most consistent performances in the field, carding rounds of 68, 68, and 71 to finish tied for eighth.

Paraic McGrath added to the team's depth with a strong showing of his own, tying for 22nd after rounds of 74, 67, and 70. Jake Johnston bounced back in a big way on the final day, improving each round throughout the tournament with scores of 73 and 75 before closing with a three-under 69 in round three. Kyle Leydon rounded out the scoring for the ThunderWolves with steady rounds of 72, 73, and 74.

With the regular season now complete, CSU Pueblo shifts its focus to the RMAC Championships, set for April 19–21 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The course will provide a familiar test for the ThunderWolves, as it also serves as the site of the NCAA Division II National Championships in mid-May—giving the Pack an early opportunity to prepare for the biggest stage of the season.
