INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Colorado State University Pueblo men's and women's golf continue to position themselves among the nation's elite, as both programs earned spots in the NCAA Division II final regional rankings, the organization announced this week. With both squads ranked inside their respective regions, the ThunderWolves are firmly in contention for NCAA postseason bids and a chance to compete for national championships.
On the men's side, CSU Pueblo ascended to the No. 1 ranking in the South Central Region, solidifying its status as one of the top teams in the country entering postseason play. The Pack sits ahead of a competitive field that includes St. Mary's (Texas), Dallas Baptist, West Texas A&M and UT Permian Basin, all programs with strong national resumes.
The top-ranked regional standing reflects a dominant spring campaign for the ThunderWolves, who have consistently finished near the top of loaded tournament fields. CSU Pueblo's depth and experience have been key factors throughout the season, highlighted by one tournament victory and six top-three finishes. In addition to their regional success, the Pack are also ranked No. 12 nationally, further emphasizing their place among the nation's elite programs. The No. 1 regional ranking places CSU Pueblo in prime position to secure one of the South Central's coveted NCAA Championship qualifying spots.
Individually, Marius Dosiere leads the way for the Pack, standing as the program's highest-ranked golfer at No. 14 nationally and No. 3 in the South Central Region. Dosiere's standout season has been a driving force behind CSU Pueblo's rise to the top of the regional rankings, consistently delivering elite performances against some of the nation's top competition.
Meanwhile, the CSU Pueblo women's golf team also finds itself in strong postseason positioning, earning the No. 5 ranking in the West Region. The ThunderWolves sit among a deep and talented group led by Dallas Baptist and UT Tyler, while continuing to build momentum heading into the RMAC Championships.
The Pack women have put together an impressive 2025-26 campaign, highlighted by five tournament victories this season, showcasing both depth and consistency throughout the lineup. Their success has also been recognized nationally, as CSU Pueblo enters the postseason ranked No. 29 in the country, reinforcing their standing as a contender in a highly competitive West Region.
Individually, freshman standout Thale Victoria Estensen has emerged as the top-ranked golfer for the ThunderWolves, checking in at No. 91 nationally and No. 25 in the region. Estensen's consistent play throughout the season has been a key factor in CSU Pueblo's success. In addition, senior captain Freya Constable enters the postseason with momentum after being named RMAC Golfer of the Week, further highlighting the depth and strength of the Pack lineup.
With both programs ranked inside the top five of their respective regions, CSU Pueblo is one of a select group of institutions nationally with both men's and women's teams in strong position to advance.
The ThunderWolves now shift their focus to the RMAC Championships, where strong performances will be critical in solidifying their postseason resumes. Following conference championship play, the NCAA will announce the official selections for regional competition, with the ultimate goal of advancing to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
