COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced on Thursday afternoon the major award winners and first and second all-conference teams for women's swimming and diving.
CSU Pueblo had four members named to the RMAC's Second Team All-Conference.
Freshman
Ashlee Urroz (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe CC) was named to the second team in the 100-butterfly, as she made it to the medal stand with a third-place finish, swimming a 55.86 in the finals, earning an NCAA B Cut, and breaking a school record in the event.
Junior
Paola C Wu (San Pedro Sula, Honduras/Indianapolis) was also named to the second team in the 400-IM, as she finished fourth place in the event with a time of 4:32.86 in the finals, earning an NCAA B Cut, and breaking a school record.
The 200-medley relay team was named to the second team. The squad consisting of C Wu, Urroz, sophomore
Carla Sanchez Guareno (Banyeres del Penedes, Spain/Institut de L'Arboc), and freshman
Olivia Dannhaus (Sheridan, Wyo./Sheridan) finished fourth place in the event, swimming a time of 1:46.85 to break a school record.
