Pack Battle Through Day Three, Sit Sixth at RMAC Championships

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo women's swimming continues to battle through one of the deepest conference meets in Division II, as the Pack sits in sixth place with 216 points after day three of the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships at the CMU El Pomar Natatorium in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Day three featured a demanding slate of events that tested both depth and endurance, highlighted by championship finals, record-breaking performances, and key point-scoring swims that kept CSU Pueblo firmly in the middle of the team race.

The ThunderWolves opened the day with a historic performance in the 400-yard medley relay, as the quartet turned in a new school record. The relay marked one of the top moments of the meet for CSU Pueblo, showcasing the Pack's continued growth and depth on the championship stage.

Individually, Aria Chase added her name to the record books with a new CSU Pueblo team record in the 200-yard freestyle. Chase's performance stood out among a deep field and provided another major highlight for the ThunderWolves during the third day of competition.

In the 400-yard individual medley, junior Laci Denn delivered one of the Pack's strongest point-scoring performances of the night. Denn advanced into the championship final and finished 15th overall with a time of 4:39.88, earning 12 crucial team points. Her swim capped a steady and composed race across all four strokes and marked one of CSU Pueblo's top individual efforts of the session.

Junior Olivia Dannhaus also scored in the event, finishing 22nd overall in 4:44.38 to add three more points for the ThunderWolves. Dannhaus continued to provide consistent contributions for the Pack as the meet progressed.

Sophomore Aline Gutierrez rounded out CSU Pueblo's representation in the 400 IM, competing in the preliminaries and gaining valuable postseason experience in one of the most physically demanding events of the championships.

Earlier in the day, CSU Pueblo took on a highly competitive 100-yard butterfly field. Sophomore Regan Rodriguez represented the Pack in prelims, posting a time of 1:06.56 while gaining championship experience against a deep sprint fly field.

Through 20 events, CSU Pueblo remains in sixth place in the team standings, positioned between Oklahoma Christian and Nebraska–Kearney. With multiple school records already set and the final day approaching, the ThunderWolves will look to build on their momentum and close out the RMAC Championships strong.
