GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's swimming remains in seventh place in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships after another solid day in water, scoring 81 more points on Day Four to push their total to 235 at El Pomar Natatorium on the campus of Colorado Mesa University.
Colorado Mesa remains in first place with 938 points. Colorado School of Mines remains in second place with 493.50 points, while Simon Fraser remains in third place with 452.50 points.
On day four the Pack continued to break more school records, as three of the girls made their mark in CSU Pueblo history.
Freshman
Ashlee Urroz (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe CC) continued her record setting week, as she finished fifth place in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:03:87 to break the school record. Her time was good enough for another NCAA B Cut and 14 points.
Junior
Paola C Wu (San Pedro Sula, Honduras/Indianapolis) also continued her record setting week, as she finished fifth place in the 200-butterfly with a time of 2:06:20 to break the school record. Her time was good enough for another NCAA B Cut and 14 points.
Sophomore
Carla Sanchez Guareno (Banyeres del Penedes, Spain/Institut de L'Arboc) continued her career week, setting a school record in the 100-backstroke with a time of 58.52 in the B Finals, obtaining six points for the Pack.

Margaret Laborde Lagrave (Sacramento, Calif./Saint Francis), sophomore
Aleksandra Dutkowiak (Wroclaw, Poland/SMS Wroclaw), and freshman
Laci Denn (Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Mainland Regional) had a strong performance in the Finals, picking up 28 points for the Pack.
Denn also competed in the daunting 500-freestyle as the lone member of the Pack in the Finals, swimming a time of 5:14:08 and brining home three points. Joining Denn in the event was junior
Andrea Gallardo Perez (Merida, Mexico/Iowa Central), and freshman
McKenna Schilling (Bonney Lake, Wash./Bonney Lake) who both had strong showings in the prelims.
Laborde Lagrrave and freshman
Abigail Boyle (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) joined Sanchez Guareno in the 100-backstroke, both giving fantastic efforts, finishing just behind the Spaniard.
Freshman
Olivia Dannhaus (Sheridan, Wyo./Sheridan) had a strong showing in the 100-breastroke as she joined Urroz in the Finals. Dannhaus picked up six points for the Pack, swimming a time of 1:06:07.
Junior
Nalani Wess (Round Rock, Texas/Round Rock) competed in the prelims of the 200-butterfly and swam a time of 2:17:15. Gallardo Perez qualified for the Finals in the 200-butterfly to join C Wu in the event. She scored two points for the Pack, swimming a time of 2:14:56.
