COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo's women's swimming team had three student-athletes named to the 2022-23 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Honor Roll on Thursday afternoon.
The ThunderWolves women's swimmers recognized were sophomore
Markina Evdokimoff (Yucca Valley, Calif./Yucca Valley), sophomore
Nalani Wess (Round Rock, Texas/Round Rock) and senior
Kristen Wolf (Topeka, Kan./Washburn Rural).
Requirements for a selection to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll are to have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or above and have completed two consecutive semesters at the institution.
Evdokimoff is majoring in Biology at CSU Pueblo and carries a 3.85 grade point average in the classroom, while Wess is majoring in Nursing and carries a 3.84 grade point average in the classroom and Wolf is majoring in Psychology and carries a 3.95 grade point average.
Wolf is a three-time selection to the RMAC Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team as she has now been a two-time selection to the Honor Roll and was named to the All-Academic First-Team in 2021-22.
Evdokimoff and Wess both earn All-Academic Honor Roll honors in swimming and diving for the first time in the collegiate careers.
Along with announcing the Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Honor Roll selections, the league also released its RMAC All-Academic First Team that was headlined by Colorado Mesa redshirt junior Lauren White, who was named the RMAC's Women's Swimming & Diving Academic Athlete of the Year.
The Pack swimming and diving team, which is coached by
Susanne Divelbiss, saw its season came to close with the ThunderWolves claiming a seventh-place finish at last weekend's RMAC Championships that were held in Grand Junction, Colo.
