STOCKTON, Calif. - No. 15 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf is set for another postseason run this week as the ThunderWolves head to Stockton, Calif., to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II West/South Central Super Regional at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
For the ninth straight season under head coach Josh Koschke, CSU Pueblo has earned a spot in the NCAA postseason and enters the regional as one of the hottest and most consistent teams in Division II golf. The ThunderWolves arrive ranked No. 15 nationally and No. 2 in the South Central Region behind only West Texas A&M.
The ThunderWolves have been one of the premier programs in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference all season long, posting a 287.2 scoring average across 25 rounds while recording one tournament victory and seven top-three finishes. Ironically, their lone win of the season came on the very course they'll battle on this week.
Back in late February, CSU Pueblo captured the West/South Central Super Regional Preview title at Spanos Park, defeating a loaded 21-team field with rounds of 290 and 279. The ThunderWolves showcased their ability to go low on the par-72, 7,082-yard layout and now return with confidence knowing they've already conquered the course once this season.
Leading the way all year has been senior standout Marius Dosiere. The ThunderWolves' workhorse and highest-ranked individual golfer enters the postseason ranked No. 17 nationally after putting together one of the best seasons in program history. Dosiere was sensational during CSU Pueblo's win at the regional preview, firing rounds of 74 and 67 to lead the Pack to the team title.
Dosiere headlines a veteran ThunderWolves lineup that also features senior captain Archie Wyatt, Kyle Leydon, Agustin Pizzorno, and Paraic McGrath. Wyatt, the Scotsman and emotional leader of the squad, enters the postseason ranked No. 92 nationally and gives CSU Pueblo two golfers inside the nation's top 100.
The ThunderWolves will tee off Tuesday morning at 11:10 a.m. MT off the first tee as they begin their pursuit of a return trip to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
CSU Pueblo enters the week coming off a runner-up finish at the RMAC Championships in Boulder City, Nev. Despite being widely considered the top team in the conference throughout the season, weather impacted the final round of the championship event and helped Colorado Mesa secure the conference title. The ThunderWolves were making a strong push late in the tournament before difficult conditions shortened the final round.
Now, the Pack turns its full attention toward qualifying for nationals.
The top five teams from the Super Regional will advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championships, which will once again be held at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev., from May 18-22.
CSU Pueblo knows exactly what it takes to advance. The ThunderWolves last reached the national championship in 2022 after winning the NCAA Super Regional they hosted at Pueblo Country Club. That season turned into one of the most memorable runs in program history as CSU Pueblo advanced all the way to match play at the NCAA National Championships.
This year's field once again features some of the top programs in Division II golf. Western Washington enters as the top-ranked team in the West Region, while Chico State sits second. West Texas A&M leads the South Central Region standings.
But CSU Pueblo has already proven this season it can compete — and win — against the best teams in the country.
Now the ThunderWolves return to Stockton looking to do it one more time and punch their ticket back to the national stage.
