BOULDER CITY, Nev. (May 20, 2026) -
Archie Wyatt closed out one of the most accomplished careers in CSU Pueblo men's golf history on Wednesday, carding a final-round 2-under 70 to finished tied for 14th place at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Competing as an individual, Wyatt posted a three-round scored of 7-under 209 to record the highest finish ever by a ThunderWolves men's golfer at the NCAA Championships.
Wyatt entered the final round in contention after opening the tournament with back-to-back under-par rounds and continued his steady play on Wednesday. The senior recorded five birdies in the final round, including three on the front nine, to finish under par for the third straight day.
After opening his round with a par on hole one, Wyatt birdied the par-5 second hole and added another birdie on the par-5 fifth to move to 3-under through the opening nine holes. He made the turn at 2-under 34 after adding birdies on holes seven and eight.
On the back nine, Wyatt highlighted his round with back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12 before closing the tournament with pars on three of his final four holes to secure the historic finish.
Wyatt's NCAA Championships appearance capped off a standout career that included two All-RMAC honors and multiple top finishes through his career. His performance this week adds another tone to an already decorated career and further cements his place among the top golfers in program history for the ThunderWolves.
