Women's Hoops Welcomes Talented 2025-26 Recruiting Class

Pueblo, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Basketball is reloading in a big way for the 2025-26 season, bringing in a versatile and battle-tested group of newcomers. The incoming class features a blend of NCAA Division I transfers, junior college standouts, and promising high school talent ready to make an immediate impact for Head Coach Tommie Johnson's squad.

Seneya Martinez – 5'8 – Sr. – Windsor, Colo. / Northridge HS / Northeastern JC / Appalachian State
A Colorado native returning home, Martinez comes from Division I Appalachian State after a stellar junior college career at Northeastern JC. A former NJCAA All-American and Region IX Player of the Year, she averaged 16 points per game while shooting 48% from the floor and 40% from deep. Coach Johnson calls her "an explosive offensive weapon" who is competitive and passionate about the game.

Dasani Nesbit – 5'11 – Jr. – Billings, Mont. / Froid HS / Gillette JC
An all-around force, Nesbit arrives as the Region IX Player of the Year and an All-Region IX selection from Gillette JC. Known for her double-double production, she can score, rebound, and facilitate, finishing second on her team in assists last season. "She's unselfish, a leader, and the type of player who gets better every day," said Johnson.

Wynter Jones – 5'6 – Jr. – Dallas, Texas / Frisco Memorial / Blinn JC
Described by Johnson as "the definition of a DAWG," Jones brings toughness, leadership, and high-level defensive and ball-handling skills. Her Blinn JC team won 48 games over two seasons, and she was also an NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honoree.

Laci Roffle – 5'11 – Jr. – Aurora, Colo. / Eaglecrest HS / MSU Denver
A familiar name for the Pack coaching staff, Roffle was recruited out of high school and now joins the program after competing at MSU Denver. She's a versatile inside-out scorer and proven RMAC contributor, highlighted by a 25-point outing against Western Colorado last season.

Ruby Sweeney-Spitzeck – 5'8 – Sr. – Melbourne, Australia / Box Hill Sr. Secondary / Idaho State
A competitive, high-energy guard, Sweeney-Spitzeck previously starred at Northeastern JC, averaging 14 points, six rebounds, and shooting 36% from three. Johnson calls her "a coach's dream" who will bring a relentless style that Pueblo fans will love.

Latai Charles – 6'1 – Jr. – Skyline Gila River HS / Murray State JC
A strong and skilled forward, Charles brings perimeter shooting ability and defensive presence. Johnson praises her resilience, leadership, and floor-spacing skills that will be key to the Pack's attack.

Anyla Owens – 5'10 – Jr. – Colorado Springs, Colo. / Cheyenne Mountain HS / Otero JC
Owens' athleticism and ability to defend multiple positions make her a valuable addition. Johnson believes "her best basketball is ahead of her" and expects her defensive impact to be felt immediately.

Malorie Byrne – 6'0 – So. – Arvada, Colo. / Arvada West HS / Chadron State
With RMAC experience already under her belt, Byrne brings size, shooting ability, and a basketball pedigree. Johnson has watched her develop for years and expects her to keep improving in a ThunderWolves uniform.

Jada Bobb – 6'1 – Fr. – Aurora, Colo. / Eaglecrest HS
One of three early high school signees, Bobb impressed while competing for Austria's U18 FIBA team, averaging over 10 rebounds per game. After posting 14 points and nine rebounds as a high school senior, she's expected to make an immediate impact on the glass.

Talia Strode – 5'7 – Fr. – Aurora, Colo. / Cherokee Trail HS
A defensive-minded point guard with leadership skills, Strode was averaging nine points, three assists, and shooting 44% from three before a season-ending knee injury in 2024. Johnson sees her as a future difference-maker for the program.

Jamie Suazo – 5'9 – Fr. – Pueblo, Colo. / Pueblo West HS
A local standout with versatility and a high basketball IQ, Suazo averaged nine points and six rebounds in high school. Johnson anticipates her work ethic and athleticism will translate well to the college game.

With proven scorers, defensive stoppers, and promising young talent, the 2025-26 recruiting class gives the Pack the depth, skill, and toughness to compete at a high level in the RMAC.
