COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three members of the Colorado State University Pueblo women's basketball team earned postseason recognition Thursday as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 All-RMAC teams.
Senior guard Seneya Martinez highlighted the group for the ThunderWolves after being named First Team All-RMAC, while Genesis Sweetwine and Ruby Sweeney-Spitzeck both earned All-RMAC Honorable Mention honors following standout seasons for the Pack.
Martinez's selection also continues a strong run of postseason recognition for CSU Pueblo, as the ThunderWolves have now had a First Team All-RMAC selection in three consecutive seasons.
Martinez was one of 10 players selected to the league's first team and was recognized as one of the top guards in the conference after leading CSU Pueblo throughout the season. The Windsor, Colorado native started all 28 games for the ThunderWolves and finished the year averaging 14.7 points per game while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from three-point range. She also added 51 assists and 58 steals on the season, emerging as one of the Pack's most consistent two-way players.
Martinez turned in several standout performances throughout the year, including two 30-plus point games during the season. Her best outing came on February 10 against UCCS when she poured in a career-high 36 points, one of the top single-game scoring performances in the RMAC this season. Martinez also demonstrated remarkable consistency offensively, scoring in double figures in 20 games for the ThunderWolves.
Sweetwine also played a major role for the ThunderWolves and was honored with All-RMAC Honorable Mention recognition. The junior guard started all 28 games for CSU Pueblo and ranked among the team leaders with 9.9 points per game while leading the Pack in playmaking with 127 assists, which ranked second in the RMAC. Sweetwine also shot 35.1 percent from beyond the arc and was a key facilitator in the ThunderWolves' offense throughout the season.
Sweetwine also delivered one of the top performances of her career in CSU Pueblo's upset victory over UCCS earlier this season. In the breakout game alongside Martinez, Sweetwine recorded the first double-double of her career, finishing with 15 points and 11 assists to help lead the ThunderWolves to the win.
Sweeney-Spitzeck rounded out the Pack's honorees after also earning Honorable Mention All-RMAC recognition. Appearing in all 28 games, the senior guard averaged 7.5 points per game and was one of the team's most efficient shooters, finishing the year 90.5 percent from the free-throw line while adding 106 rebounds and 43 assists.
Sweeney-Spitzeck scored in double figures six times during the season, including a career performance on January 17 when she poured in 29 points to lead the ThunderWolves to an overtime victory over Regis. The senior guard's performance was one of the top individual scoring efforts of the season for CSU Pueblo.
The trio helped lead CSU Pueblo through the 2025-26 campaign as the ThunderWolves finished the regular season 13-15 overall and 9-11 in RMAC play, competing in one of the nation's deepest Division II conferences.
The All-RMAC teams and major awards are voted on by the league's 15 head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own players.
