Along with announcing the D2CCA All-America Teams, the NCBWA also announced the winners of its two individual awards as Lubbock Christian senior third baseman Brevin McCool was named the Ron Lenz National Player of the Year, while Seton Hill (Pa.) redshirt junior starting pitcher Ian Korn was named the Ron Lenz National Pitcher of the Year.
Castaneda helped lead the Pack to a 32-20 overall record and tied for third in the RMAC with a 22-10 record.
