PUEBLO, Colo. – Spring storms that are forecast to hit the Southern Colorado area over the next few days have forced schedule changes for the CSU Pueblo women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, and outdoor track and field teams.

The Pack women's lacrosse team is scheduled to play on Friday, April 4, at 4 p.m. against UCCS in Colorado Springs, Colo. However, the start time of that Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game has been moved up two hours and will now begin at 2 p.m. to avoid the second wave of storms expected to roll through the area later in the afternoon.

Conversely, the Pack baseball team is scheduled to play a four-game RMAC series at Rawlings Field beginning on Friday, April 4, but the series will now begin with a single nine-inning game on Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. The teams will then play a doubleheader on Sunday, April 6 beginning at noon and conclude the series with a single nine-inning game on Monday, April 7 at noon.

The Pack softball team also has adjusted its home schedule this weekend against UCCS as the two schools will now play their four-game series on Sunday, April 6, and Monday, April 7 at the Rawlings Softball Complex. Sunday's doubleheader will begin at noon, with the series wrapping up with another doubleheader on Monday beginning at 11 a.m.

This weekend's weather forecast also forced CSU Pueblo head track and field coach Matt Morris to cancel his team's annual Spank Blasing Invitational scheduled for Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5 in the CSU ThunderBowl. Due to the cancelation of its home meet, the Pack will now compete at the Maverick Invitational hosted by Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo., on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4.

CSU Pueblo's women's tennis team is still scheduled to play on Saturday, April 5 in Grand Junction, Colo., against Colorado Mesa, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
