GRAND JUNCTIO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Swimming team concluded the 2025 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships at the El Pomar Natatorium on the campus of Colorado Mesa University.
CSU Pueblo finished in sixth place at the Championships, accumulating 470 total points for the week. Colorado Mesa won the team total with 1,939 total points.
Marissa Mangino and
Markina Evdokimoff both qualified for the Women's 1650 Freestyle Finals. Mangino finished in 23rd in the event, picking up two points for the Pack. Evdokimoff finished in 24th, picking up a point for ThunderWolves.
Carla Sanchez Guareno won the B Final in the Women's 200 Back Finals, picking up 20 points for the Pack and a time of 2:05.99. In the C Final in the 200 Back Finals, the Pack were able to pick up some more points from
Aline Gutierrez,
McKenna Schilling, and
Aleksandra Dutkowiak. Gutierrez picked up six points for the Pack, while Schilling score four points. Dutkowiak rounded out the event for the Pack, scoring two points.
Olivia Dannhaus qualfied for the A Finals in the 200 Breaststroke Finals and delivered 23 big points for the Pack. Dannhaus swam a time of 2:23.02 to finish seventh in the event.
Paola C Wu won the B Final, swimming a time of 2:23.21 to pick up 20 more points for CSU Pueblo in the event.
In the final event of the week for CSU Pueblo, Head Coach
Susanne Divelbiss sent two teams to the 400 Freestyle Relay. The A squad of
Laci Denn,
Margaret Laborde Lagrave, Dutkowiak, and C Wu finished in sixth place with a time of 3:39.93 to bring home 30 more points for CSU Pueblo. The B squad of Evdokimoff,
Andrea Gallardo Perez,
Nalani Wess, and Schilling picked up six points with a time of 3:50.48.
