Boulder City, Nev. - The No. 24 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo Men's Golf team capped off a strong performance at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Preview, hosted at Boulder Creek Golf Club just outside Las Vegas. Facing an elite national field comprised of the top programs in Division II golf, the ThunderWolves finished under par in all three rounds, showcasing their depth and consistency against championship-level competition.
The Pack opened the tournament with an impressive 8-under 280 in round one, followed by a steady 2-under 286 on day two. Despite spending much of the final round above par, CSU Pueblo rallied late to card a 1-under 287 to close the week in strong fashion, proving they can compete with the best on the national stage.
Leading the charge was Marius Dosiere, who continued his outstanding fall season with a tie for eighth place individually. The talented Frenchman fired rounds of 71 (-1), 70 (-2), and a scorching 67 (-5) for a three-round total of 8-under-par 208.
Team captain Archie Wyatt, the veteran Scotsman, put together two excellent rounds to start the week, opening with back-to-back 69s (-3) before finishing with a tough 77 (+5) in round three. His consistent play still earned him a tie for 29th at 3-under-par 213.
Joining him in that same position was Kyle Leydon, the Colorado native and Creighton transfer, who showcased flashes of brilliance with an opening 67 (-5). After a challenging second round 77 (+5), he bounced back nicely to shoot 71 (-1) on the final day, also finishing at 3-under-par 213.
Fellow Scotsman Callum Keneally delivered steady play across all three rounds, posting scores of 73 (+1), 72 (E), and 73 (+1) to finish 2-over-par 218 and in a tie for 51st. Agustin Pizzorno rounded out the team scoring with rounds of 75 (+3), 75 (+3), and 76 (+4) to finish 10-over-par 226, tying for 78th.
Competing individually, Jake Johnston, a redshirt freshman for the ThunderWolves, gained valuable experience against top-tier talent. He carded rounds of 72 (E), 73 (+1), and 74 (+2) to finish 3-over-par 219.
Head Coach Josh Koschke praised his team's performance and resilience.
"I'm really proud of the way our guys fought this week," Koschke said. "This field is loaded with teams we'll see again in May, and we proved we belong right there with them. The guys showed grit and composure on a demanding course, and we're already looking forward to getting back here for conference in April — and hopefully for the national championship in May."
The ThunderWolves will wrap up their fall schedule next week at the Otter Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay, at the renowned Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey Bay, California.
