PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Swimming team won on Saturday against Barton County Community College due to forfeit at the Sam Jones Natotorium.
Due to inclement weather, Barton had to return home to Kansas on Saturday morning, but that did not stop the ThunderWolves and Pack Nation from celebrating their four seniors on Senior Day.
CSU Pueblo was still able to have an incredible Saturday, competing in an inter-squad dual, and celebrating the wonderful careers of
Nalani Wess,
Markina Evdokimoff,
Andrea Gallardo Perez, and
Paola C Wu.
The four seniors were celebrated prior to the inter-squad dual.
WORDS FROM HEAD COACH SUSANNE DIVELBISS
"These four seniors all represent our team motto, which is relentless. These four are the true definition." Divelbiss also said, if I could describe each senior in one word I would say that Markina is feisty, Nalani is kind, Andrea is solid, and Paola is a racer."
"Their relentless is what makes this team great. I just want to thank these four for making a lasting impact on our team, paving the way for future ThunderWolves. Our program is definitely better than it was when they got here."
UP NEXT FOR THE PACK
CSU Pueblo gets some time off to rest and recover. They are back in the pool for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships next month, Feb. 11-15 in Grand Junction, Colo.
