Pack Tennis falls to Roadrunners in RMAC play

PUEBLO, Colo. (March 11, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo tennis teams suffered losses to visiting Metro State University of Denver Sunday in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches at Pueblo City Park.

The Pack men (8-11, 1-1 RMAC) lost 8-1, while the women (2-12, 1-1 RMAC) lost 9-0, as both teams finished the home weekend 2-1.

The lone match winner was senior Steven Alcala (Pueblo, Colo.) at No. 6 singles. He won the first set 6-3, lost 4-6 in set two and took the third set tiebreaker by the score of 10-3.

Both ThunderWolves squads will continue their homestand Tuesday at Pueblo City Park when they host Doane University in a nonconferece match beginning at 9 a.m.
