DENVER, Colo. (Feb. 21, 2020) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's tennis team lost 6-0 to University of Denver Friday in the first spring match of the season.
Senior
Daniel Garcia (Riverside, Calif.) was the lone member of the ThunderWolves to win a set, as he won the first set 6-4, but fell in set two, 6-3. In the third set tiebreaker, Garcia lost 10-6.
In doubles play, the No. 1 doubles pair of sophomores
Edward Cooper (Wolverhampton, UK) and
Richard Garcia (Bolton, UK) forced a tiebreaker, as they pushed the match to 7-6. In the tiebreaker, the Pioneers won 10-1.
Next up, the Pack will host Montana State University Feb. 29 at 1 p.m. at Pueblo City Park.
