RESULTS
PUEBLO, Colo. (April 10, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's tennis team posted a 9-0 home victory against Colorado College Sunday at Pueblo City Park. The match wrapped the Pack's home schedule before hosting the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament April 22-23.
The day started out right for the ThunderWolves (5-17, 0-2 RMAC), as the Pack won all three doubles by not allowing more than three points in any of the matches.
Sophomore Siggy Menzel (Biggera Waters, Australia) earned his second win at No. 1 singles as a member of the ThunderWolves, as he posted a straight set 6-2, 6-3 victory. At No. 3 singles, senior Marcelo Chaparro (Bogotá, Colombia) has won two straight, as he recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win. Freshman Keaton Qualls (Austin, Texas) entered the lineup and went 2-0, which included a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.
CSU-Pueblo concludes regular season play this week with a pair of RMAC road matches. April 13 the ThunderWolves travel to Colorado Christian University at 3:30 p.m.and will battle Colorado Mesa University April 16 at 11 a.m.
