LAWTON, Okla. (March 5, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's tennis team battled its third nationally ranked opponent in a two-day span Saturday, as the ThunderWolves fell to No. 15 Cameron University, 8-1 in a nonconference match.
The ThunderWolves (3-7) wrapped the Cameron Invite Saturday after losing to No. 45 East Central University and No. 13 Ouachita Baptist University Friday.
The No. 1 doubles pair of Siggy Menzel (So., Biggera Waters, Australia) and David Mould (So., Upminster Essex, United Kingdom) earned the victory for the ThunderWolves and posted their second straight win. The doubles partners won 9-7 to improve to 2-1 as a group at the top doubles spot.
Next for the ThunderWolves is a trip to Emporia, Kansas, March 11-13. The Pack will play each day, starting with Empora State Unviersity March 11, followed by Newman University March 12 and Seward County CC March 13.
