PUEBLO, Colo. (March 25, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's and women's tennis teams were outside at Pueblo City Park for the first time this spring, but the homecoming was spoiled, as both Midwestern State University teams were nationally ranked and defeated the ThunderWolves by a 9-0 margin.

The MSU women are No. 20 in NCAA Division II and won 9-0 to improve to 9-3. The ThunderWolves (2-13) did find a set win, as No. 5 singles Samantha Cachutt (So., Caracas, Miranda) lost 6-4 in the first, but won the second set 7-5 before losing the third set tiebreaker 10-7.

The ThunderWolves women continue their nonconference home schedule with California State University-Stanilus March 29 at 2 p.m. Next for the men is the start of conference play April 2 at home versus No. 28 Western New Mexico University in a match set to begin at 10 a.m.
