RMAC RELEASE
COLORDO SPRINGS, COLO. (Oct. 17, 2016) – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its 2016 Football Academic All-RMAC teams Monday and in the process named three Colorado State University-Pueblo football student-athletes to the All-RMAC First Team, while recognizing 15 total from the ThunderWolves.
Named to the first team were junior Corbin Feenstra (OL, Supierior, Colo.), sophomore Brandon Payer (LB, Pine, Colo.) and redshirt-freshman Kyle Rosenbrock (LB, Brush, Colo.).
Feenstra owns a 3.99 GPA in business management and has started all seven games at center for the Pack this season. He has helped guide a rushing attack that owns 217.4 yards per game to rank fourth in the league and 24th nationally. The offense sits 20th in NCAA Division II in tackles for loss allowed (4.57 tackles per game). Feenstra was a CoSIDA Academic All-America and conference first team pick last season after two years on the honor roll.
Payer owns a 3.51 GPA in accounting and has started all seven games at inside linebacker. Payer guides the Pack defense with 59 tackles (28 solo) to rank tied for fifth in the RMAC. His 7.0 tackles for loss (-14 yards) is tied for fifth in the league. He has added an interception and a forced fumble.
Rosenbrock owns a 4.0 in engineering and has been a key backup linebacker for the Pack this season. He has totaled 22 tackles (16 solo) to sit eighth on the team. Rosenbrock has added 1.5 tackles for loss (-14 yards), which includes a sack (-13 yards). He returned a fumble 54 yards.
