2015 (R-Fr.): Earned a spot on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2014 (RS): Redshirted in 2014.

High School: Earned USA-Today and Go-Cleanse All-Colorado honors for the Mark Nolan coached Regis Jesuit Raiders... Also an All-Continental Conference pick... Helped the Raiders win a conferenc title... Also plays baseball and basketball... Holds a 3.62 GPA and is a 4-year first team honor roll selection... Is a National Honor Society member.

Personal: Is the son of Rick and Stacey Vandekoppel... Has a younger sister, Kelly... Enjoys spending his time volunteering, swimming and fishing.
