Eight Pack Football Players Named to 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Eight Colorado State University Pueblo football student-athletes were recognized as members of the 2026 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society as announced Wednesday by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

The eight Pack football student-athletes named to the 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society were redshirt senior receiver Andrew Cook (Tucson, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge), senior defensive back Kellen Curtis (Anchorage, Alaska/Southwest Baptist), senior tight end Tyler Dvorak (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek), senior quarterback Roman Fuller (Decatur, Texas/University of Tulsa), senior offensive lineman Domingo Prince II (Aurora, Colo./Cherry Creek), senior receiver Zack Rakowsky (Loveland, Colo./Loveland), senior defensive back Jaylen Shaw (McKinney, Texas/Midwestern State) and senior defensive lineman Cameron Smith (Parker, Colo./Stephen F. Austin). All eight of the Pack nominees completed their eligibility during the 2025 season.

In order to qualify for the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, the student-athlete must have maintained a 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career, along with being a senior player, who will graduate this spring/summer, and just completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2025; or a graduated player or graduate transfer who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in the 2025 season (even if the player has remaining eligibility and may return to play next season); and must have been a starter or key contributor during the 2025 season.

A record number of 2,596 elite players from 365 schools at all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football qualified for membership in the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society. The 2,596 student-athletes selected are the most in a single year in the program's 20-year history. The 2,596 honorees posted an average GPA of 3.57 and 26 percent of the honorees served as team captains in 2025.

"Twenty years ago, college coaches around the country came to the National Football Foundation asking us to recognize not just their top student-athlete, but the numerous student-athletes on their teams who were also excelling at the highest levels in the classroom," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "Their voices led to the creation of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, and two decades later, the results speak for themselves. Year after year, we continue to see remarkable academic achievements across college football."

CSU Pueblo was one of 41 NCAA Division II schools that had a record total of 267 players named to this year's NFF Hampshire Honor Society and one of eight schools from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference that were represented. Western Colorado had 10 overall selections, while CSU Pueblo was next with eight players honored and Colorado School of Mines had five players recognized. Fort Lewis had four players honored, while South Dakota Mines had three, Adams State had two players, Black Hills State and Colorado Mesa each had one player recognized.

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society capitalizes on the NFF's National Scholar-Athlete program by greatly expanding the number of scholar-athletes the NFF can recognize each year. The program further strengthens the organization's leadership role in encouraging academic performance by the student-athletes at the 774 colleges and universities with football programs nationwide.

Division III's Case Western led all program among all divisions with 23 members. Rutgers topped FBS programs with 20 honorees, while East Texas A&M led the FCS with 20 members. Hillsdale (Mich.) led Division II schools with 17 members, Grand View (Iowa) led the NAIA with 11 members and Cornell topped all sprint teams with 12 honorees.

Created in 2007, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher throughout their college careers.

"To see this program reach 20 years with a record number of honorees is really special," said NFF Chairman Archie Manning. "As the world of college football faces an era of transition, one thing remains the same: the game's ability to develop well-rounded student-athletes committed to excellence in the classroom as well as on the field. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society provides an important platform for us to recognize the value of the game in developing leaders while shining a light on their individual accomplishments."
