Wagner notched both of his RBIs on his team-leading fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the fourth inning. Godman and Austin Mascorro (Sr., Oxnard, Calif.) also added two hits apiece for CSU-Pueblo.
After three scoreless innings, the bottom part of the CSU-Pueblo lineup delivered in the bottom of the fourth frame to break up the 0-0 tie. With two outs and nobody on base, the No. 7 and No. 8 hitters Tyler Landrith (Sr., Tucson, Ariz.) and Beau Cebulski (Jr., Las Animas, Colo.) worked back-to-back walks to put runners at first and second. The No. 9 hitter Chavez ripped an 0-2 pitch up the middle to drive in Landrith with the game's first run. Godman followed with a bullet through the right side of the infield to score Cebulski and give the ThunderWolves a 2-0 lead.
Adams State finally broke through against Wittmus in the fifth inning. The Grizzlies scored three, two-out runs to take a 3-2 lead after 4 1/2 innings of play.
The Pack quickly regained the lead with two runs in the home half of the fifth frame. After a lead-off single by Bregar, Wagner belted a two-run bomb over the 365 sign in left-center field to push CSU-Pueblo back in front, 4-3.
A RBI ground out by Bregar in the bottom of the sixth inning extended the ThunderWolves' advantage to 5-3 heading into the seventh inning.

Landrith matched Cebulski's effort with a single of his own into center field to score Richins to give the ThunderWolves a 2-1 advantage.
The Grizzlies regained the lead with four runs in the next half inning to move back in front, 5-2.
After a lengthy delay for lightening in the top of the fifth inning, CSU-Pueblo trimmed the deficit to just one with two runs in the bottom half of the fifth frame.
