Men's and Women's Tennis drop road matches at Colorado Mesa

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (April 19, 2015) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's and women's tennis teams both fell on the road to Colorado Mesa University in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Sunday.

Both CSU-Pueblo tennis teams have completed regular season play and are set to compete in the RMAC Championships at Pueblo City Park April 24-25.

The ThunderWolves drop to 6-9 overall this spring and 3-2 in conference play. Juniors  Mariana Hosomi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Teresa Haro (Monument, Colo.) won at No. 3 doubles, accounting for the lone doubles victory. Hosomi also won at No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-1) to go 2-0 on that day.  Freshman Patricia Maya (San Luis Potos, Mexico) joined Hosomi to earn the two Pack singles victories.

The Pack men's team fell 9-0 to the Mavericks to move to 2-3 in conference play and 5-14 overall.

As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Colorado State University – Pueblo competes in 22 varsity sports in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
