GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 7, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo showed the wear of a highly emotional series with Colorado Mesa Sunday, falling 15-1 to the Mavericks.
The ThunderWolves were five-hit in the nine-inning game, recording just one extra base hit in the game. The Pack went through five pitchers, giving up only eight earned runs, though, as the ThunderWolves committed four errors.
With the loss, CSU-Pueblo falls to 16-15 overall and 12-10 in RMAC play, two games behind New Mexico Highlands for the lead in the RMAC Plains Division.
CSU-Pueblo returns home next weekend as it hosts Colorado School of Mines at Rawlings Field.
