ThunderWolves now set sights on four-game series at Colorado Mesa.

PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 22, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo was again victimized by a big inning Sunday, seeing the game slip away after a five-run inning by Mines during an 8-5 loss.

Mines hung five runs on the Pack in the 7th inning, turning a 4-3 CSU-Pueblo lead on its ear.

The ThunderWolves saw a couple strong games turned in offensively that helped put it in position to win, including a 3-for-5 game by J.T. Greenhood (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.), putting him at 6-for-16 on the weekend with two home runs.

Leadoff hitter Andrew Castaneda (Sr., San Jose, Calif.) also had a three-hit game, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, falling a home run short of the cycle. 

The Pack will look to bounce back from the split next weekend in a make-or-break series at Colorado Mesa.  Currently four games back of Mesa for first place in the RMAC standings, the ThunderWolves will try for its first series win at Colorado Mesa since 2002, when it claimed three of four.  In fact, the ThunderWolves haven't even split a road series at Mesa since 2002.
