PUEBLO, Colo.-(GoThunderWolves.com-March 11, 2012)-  In their last preseason match before heading in to the RMAC schedule, the CSU-Pueblo Women's Tennis team faced their local rival, Colorado College Tigers, in a rematch on March 10, at the Pueblo City Park Tennis complex.

Even though the final score was 8-1, again favoring the Tigers from Colorado Springs, the Pack's Head Coach Brad Gerler was happy with the way his team competed. "I see lots of improvement from when we played them last time," Gerler points out, "I saw us getting better and putting ourselves into more matches."

The lone victory came at the #3 Doubles spot, when the team of Cindy Boughton (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Heather Guilliams (Fr., Brighton, Colo.) secured the win 8-4.

Up next for the Pack is a trip to Denver to take on both Colorado Christian University and the Central Regions #5 ranked team, Metro State, on March 23-24 to start RMAC play.
