USAFA, Colo.(GoThunderWolves.com-Feb. 26, 2012) - In their opener for the 2012 season, the CSU-Pueblo Women's Tennis team found themselves looking up at the high flying Falcons of the United States Air Force Academy after this contest.

Taking on the Division I Cadets, the ThunderWolves were unable to halt the the dominating performance of the Cadets, losing 9-0.

"Air Force is obviously a great team," said Head Coach Brad Gerler," but I think we came out of that match a little better than when we went in."  Gerler continued to praise his squad after the matches pointing to their fight in spite of adversity.

"The kids competed extremely well and some of them played as well as I've ever seen them play."

The Pack returns to the home courts at Pueblo City Park to tangle with the Tigers of Colorado College on Saturday, March 10, 2012.  Action starts at noon.
