A tough double header on paper did not slow down the Pack as they went on to sweep Colorado Christian and Dixie State (UT), winning each match 6-3. CSU-Pueblo was led by four singles victories in the both matches, the day was highlighted by Kellie Manes (Sr., Pueblo, CO) along with Brooke Trevithick (Fr., Pueblo, CO) and Gia Montoya (Fr., Pueblo, CO) each picking up two victories on the day. Doubles play was just as stellar as the Pack notched four victories in both matches.
With defeating Dixie State (UT) the Pack was able to avenge last year's 8-1 loss and head coach Brad Gerler was thrilled with his team's performance especially in doubles play, "Our doubles played the best I've seen since I been coach." The T-Wolves had a chance at five doubles victories against Dixie State but was unable to finish. "We still need to work on finishing our matches, but I'll take the win," said Gerler.
The Pack will conclude its fall season when they battle against Mills College (CA) on Saturday, again in Grand Junction, CO.
