D'Andre Brumfield (R-Jr., Dallas, Tex.) was instrumental in leading the No. 8 Pack wrestling team to a fourth place finish at the NCAA Division II Super Region VI Championships Saturday in Kearney, Nebraska.

Brumfield, ranked No. 2 in DII at 133 lbs., went 4-0 to claim the Super Region VI Championship. He totaled three bonus point victories, which included a pin at 3:10 in the title bout against No. 12 Wesley Dawkins of UNK.

He posted a 14-4 major decision win in the opener, then produced a 19-3 technical fall to advance to the semifinals where he won by an 8-1 decision.
