Brady Prewitt (So., Raytown, Mo.) has excelled this season for CSU Pueblo and this past weekend was no exception, as the sophomore extended his hitting streak to 13 games.
Over the weekend at Adams State, Prewitt batted 8-for-18 (.444) with seven RBIs, two doubles and a homerun. Prewitt's strong performances at the plate led to 11 runs scored in the series.
Prewitt leads the Pack with a .409 batting average and .636 slugging percentage.
The baseball team will host a pod series against MSU Denver and Colorado Christian. The Pack are scheduled to play MSU Denver on Friday at 1 p.m. and on Saturday will face off against Colorado Christian at noon. On Sunday, CSU Pueblo will play a doubleheader against both teams starting at 12 p.m., all games this weekend will be played at Rawlings Field.
