Katelynn Ralston (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) helped to lead CSU Pueblo to a 3-0 weekend to start the season at Western New Mexico. It is the first 3-0 start to the season for CSU Pueblo since 2001.
Working double duties for the Pack, Ralston went 1-0 in the pitcher's circle including tossing a complete game in two appearances. She recorded nine strikeouts, scattered 12 hits in 6.0 innings pitched.
Offensively, Ralston posted a .538 batting average as she went 7-for-13 at the dish with four doubles, seven RBI, 11 total bases and six runs. She earned a .846 slugging mark and a .538 on-base percentage.
With two schools left to start their season, the ThunderWolves remain the lone undefeated team in the RMAC.
The Pack softball team has this week off before starting Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Feb. 25-26 versus Colorado School of Mines.
