Phoebe Pontious (Jr., Caledonia, Mich.) was one of the Pack's top point earners in their season opener against Western Colorado University. She totaled 15 individual points with a first place and a second place finish.

Pontious recorded her fourth career win over the Mountaineers when she raced to victory in the 50 free with a time of 25.29. Pontious also placed second in the 100 free (55.90). She is the Pack's record-holder in both events.

Later in the meet, Pontious helped the Pack place second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:43.05.
