Men’s Golf Named 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award Recipient

PUEBLO, Colo. — The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team has earned national recognition as a 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award recipient, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The ThunderWolves were among the NCAA Division II programs honored for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

CSU Pueblo's commitment to academic excellence continues to match its success on the course. This marks yet another accolade under the leadership of Head Coach Josh Koschke, who has guided the program to eight consecutive NCAA postseason appearances. The 2024 season was highlighted by standout golfer Agustin Pizzorno, who advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships as an individual—capping a strong year for the ThunderWolves.

The Academic Team Award underscores the program's holistic approach to collegiate athletics, emphasizing both scholarly achievement and athletic development. As CSU Pueblo prepares for the upcoming season, the ThunderWolves remain a model of consistency and excellence both in the classroom and in competition.

The Pack open up their 2025 Fall Season at the Travis Roy Memorial on Sept. 15-16 in Sheridan, Wyo. at Powder Horn Golf Club.
