RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team concluded its 2025 season at the NCAA Division II South Central/West Super Regional at the Victoria Club in Riverside, California, narrowly missing out on a berth to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
The ThunderWolves finished in eighth place at 14-under par, just six shots shy of the sixth and final qualifying spot.
CSU Pueblo entered the final round in strong position, trailing sixth place by only two shots and climbing as high as fifth during the early stages of round three. However, challenging afternoon conditions, including swirling winds on the demanding Victoria Club layout, proved difficult as the team slipped just outside the qualifying zone.
Despite falling short as a team, junior standout Agustin Pizzorno made history by earning an individual berth to the National Championship, finishing tied for eighth at nine-under par with rounds of 68-68-71. He will represent CSU Pueblo next week at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Fellow teammate Marius Dosiere also played is butt off this week, posting rounds of 69-69-70 to finish at eight-under and in 13th place individually.
Team captain Archie Wyatt had a solid week highlighted by a second-round 68, finishing with a three-round total of 216 (E).
Fifth-year senior Thomas Craig closed out a memorable collegiate career with rounds of 73-71-75, while Callum Kenneally, who emerged during last year's Super Regional, shot 74-71-76.
Teams advancing to the National Championship include Colorado Christian, Oklahoma Christian, Cal State East Bay, St. Mary's, Cal State San Bernardino, and West Texas A&M, with the latter edging out CSU Pueblo by six strokes.
Head coach Josh Koschke reflected proudly on the season, stating, "It was an incredible week and an incredible season led by a great group of young men. I'm incredibly proud to have been able to coach these guys as they helped CSU Pueblo advance to the postseason for the seventh straight year."
The ThunderWolves posted team rounds of 4-under, 12-under, and 2-over to finish their 2025 campaign. As both the men's and women's programs continue to make waves nationally, CSU Pueblo is quickly establishing itself as a rising golf power in NCAA Division II.
