Football Announces Home Spring Game Friday in ThunderBowl

PUEBLO, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo head football coach Philip Vigil has announced that his program will conduct its annual spring football scrimmage on Friday, April 11. The spring game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start in the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl.

Vigil, who is entering his third season as the Pack head coach in 2025, and the Pack have been conducting their 15 spring practices since March 5 and the home spring game will mark the 15th and final spring practice for the ThunderWolves.

Fans are encouraged to come out to the ThunderBowl and catch of the glimpse of the 2025 ThunderWolves on Friday, April 11.

The players will be split into a Red and Blue Team for Friday's game and the players will draft their teams later this week.

Last season, the Pack finished with a 10-2 overall record and a 9-0 mark in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Pack claimed the program's first outright RMAC title since 2013 and first since 2018 and was the No. 1 seed in the Super Region 4 and hosted Minnesota State in a second round NCAA Division II Playoff game.

Vigil's 2025 Pack team opens its season with a 6 p.m. home game in the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl on Thursday, Aug. 28 against South Dakota Mines.
