Retzlaff, Prince II Earn 2025 D2CCA All-Super Region Four Honors

Retzlaff Repeats as First Team Selection, Prince Repeats as Second Team Selection

GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo redshirt senior receiver Reggie Retzlaff (Corona, Calif./Riverside City College) and senior offensive lineman Domingo Prince II (Aurora, Colo./Cherry Creek) earned more postseason honors on Thursday as the pair of ThunderWolves have earned Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CAA) All-Super Region Four Football Team honors.

Retzlaff repeats as a First-Team D2CCA All-Super Region Four selection, while Prince II repeated as a Second-Team D2CCA All-Super Region Four selection. With his First-Team All-Region selection, Retzlaff is now eligible for D2CCA All-American honors as he advances to the national ballot.

CSU Pueblo was one of 12 schools in Super Region Four to earn at least two All-Region selections. In addition, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference had a total of 14 players named All-Region selections by the D2CCA.

Great American Conference champion and No. 2 ranked Harding led the way with nine overall selections, including six first team honorees. In addition to Harding, Chadron State, Northwest Missouri State and Pittsburg State each had four selections, including a combined six first team honorees. Northeastern State and Western Colorado each had three selections, while Black Hills State, Central Washington, Fort Hays State, New Mexico Highlands and West Texas A&M joined the Pack with two overall selections.

Retzlaff, who was named the D2CCA Super Region Four Offensive Player of the Year last season and was a two-time RMAC First-Team selection, repeats as a First-Team All-Region selection after ranking second in the league in receiving yards (922), yards per game (92.2) and receiving touchdowns (15) and led the league in receptions (68), and receptions per game (6.8). He also ranks third in scoring with an average of 9.0 points per game and is fifth in all-purpose yards per game (92.2) during the regular season.

On the season, Retzlaff, who was the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week and NFF Colorado Chapter Player of the Week following the Colorado School of Mines game, set the school's career marks for receptions (183), receiving yards (2,955) and receiving touchdowns (39), along with setting new single-season school records this season for receptions (68) and touchdowns (15) and had a single-game school record 14 receptions in the regular season finale against 22nd-ranked Chadron State and is second on the school's all-time scoring chart with 234 points. He recorded two or more touchdown receptions in six games and had four games this season with seven or more receptions.

Retzlaff, who was a nominee for the 2025 Harlon Hill Trophy, leads all Colorado football receivers (all levels) in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Retzlaff, who is one of two players in school history to record 1,000 or more receiving yards in a season, had a team-best 16 plays of 20 or more yards, including three touchdown receptions of 20 or more yards. At the end of the regular season, Retzlaff, who was named the 2024 RMAC Offensive Player of the Year, is the active Division II leader in career touchdown receptions (39) and is third among active D-II players in career receiving yards (2,955) and is the D-II active leader in career receiving yards per game (92.3). Additionally, he is seventh among all active D-II players in career touchdowns with 39, which is fourth in the state of Colorado history. He also tallied 11 career games with 100 or more receiving yards, including a school record 241 yards in last season's opener at South Dakota Mines.

Meanwhile, Prince II, who has been named a nominee for the Gene Upshaw Senior Division II Lineman of the Award and was named First-Team All-RMAC selection this season, repeats as a Second-Team D2CCA All-Super Region Four selection after starting all 12 games at right guard for the Pack and helped the Pack offense finish the regular season leading the RMAC in scoring offense (39.6 points per game), passing offense (302.2 yards per game), total offense (453.5 yards per game) and sixth in rushing offense (151.4 yards per game). Prince and his offensive linemates were second in the league in sacks allowed as they allowed just 17 in 11 games for an average of 1.55 per game. On the season, the Pack offensive attack gained 4,989 yards, scored 56 touchdowns, and scored 436 points, and gained 286 first downs, which is tied for third in Division II football heading into the postseason.

Along with naming the two All-Region Teams, the D2CCA named Western Colorado senior quarterback Drew Nash as the Super Region Four Offensive Player of the Year, while Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss was named the Super Region Four Defensive Player of the Year.

The D2CCA All-Super Region Teams are nominated and voted on by the sports information directors of the region. Super Region 4 features the RMAC, GAC, Lone Star Conference (LSC), the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and an independent (Northeastern State).
