SEASIDE, Calif. - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team capped off an impressive fall season with another top-tier performance, finishing as the runner-up at the Otter Invitational, hosted at the challenging Bayonet Black Golf Course in Seaside, California.
The ThunderWolves battled through tough conditions at the demanding par-72 layout to finish second overall, just behind Western Washington University. The highlight of the tournament came from French standout Marius Dosiere, who captured the individual title with steady rounds of 71-72-71 to finish two-under for the week. Dozier's consistency and composure across all three rounds led the Pack and secured his first collegiate victory.
Team captain Archie Wyatt posted a solid performance with rounds of 76-72-75, while redshirt freshman Jake Johnston impressed in his first Otter Invitational, carding scores of 76-73-79. Creighton transfer Kyle Leydon found his rhythm late in the tournament, rebounding from rounds of 78-81 with a spectacular three-under 69 in the final round — the lowest round of the day for the ThunderWolves. Callum Kenneally also delivered a strong finish, closing the event with a one-under 71 after tough opening rounds.
As a team, CSU Pueblo shot 13-over in round one, nine-over in round two, and closed with a superb two-under team score in the final round, showcasing the squad's resilience and depth.
Receiving votes nationally, the ThunderWolves conclude their fall campaign with three top-three finishes in four tournaments, marking one of the most consistent fall stretches in program history. With momentum on their side and a growing regional reputation, the Pack now shift their focus to preparing for a promising spring season that could have NCAA postseason implications.
