EMPORIA, Kan. – The Colorado State University Pueblo Track and Field squads concluded the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships at Emporia State University.
Throwers were the only ones who competed on Day three of the Championships.
Katherine Higgins (Mead, Colo./Ponderosa) and
Febe Wessels (Pretoria, South Africa) concluded their outstanding 2024 campagin with a bang, both bringing home All-American honors in the Women's Shot Put.
Higgins finished in sixth place with a mark of 15.36m on her second throw to bring home All-American honors. Wessels threw a personal best on her second throw with a mark of 15.34m to finish seventh and to bring home All-American honors.
Justin Jenks (Helena, Mont./Helena Capital) concluded his historic career with another All-American distinction. In the Shot Put, Jenks on his final throw, launched a throw of 18.49m to finish in fourth place.
