BOULDER CITY, Nev. (April 23, 2024) - Colorado State University Pueblo men's golfer Jeffrey Nelson (Jr., Commerce City, Colo.) had his best outing of the season and finished in second place at the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships scoring an 11-under 205 and paced the ThunderWolves to a third place finish. The Pack recorded a 14-under 291-281-278-850 over the three rounds played at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Jamie Roberts (Sr., Kinross, Scotland) vaulted eight spots from Monday's round two and finished in fourth place overall at 6-under 210.

Placing T-19th, Colt Tenpenny (So., Fulshear, Tex.) registered a three-round score of 2-over 218.

Paraic McGrath (Fr., Galway, Ireland) finished T-24th at +6 222 and Archie Wyatt (So., Edinburgh, Scotland) placed 26th and scored 224 8-over.

Tournament Summary
Nelson finished with a tied for a tournament-high two Eagle shots he hit during Monday's round one and earned 13 birdies and landed 33 holes for par.

Roberts led the team with 15 birdies and he was successful on 32 holes for par. His best round arguably came on Tuesday when he finished 4-under par and landed five birdies.

Tenpenny improved his scores as the tournament progressed and he finished with scores of 75-73-70. He scored eleven birdies and 32 shots for par.

McGrath hit the only other Eagle shot for the Pack in the second round on Monday and registered 34 pars.

Wyatt tallied nine birdies for the Pack.
