Sarah Megilligan (Jr., Pueblo West, Colo.) got the lone team point for the Pack against Seward CC. Megilligan won 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 4 singles position. She narrowly lost at No. 2 doubles, 5-7.
Megilligan earned posted two wins during the previous week. Against New Mexico Military Institue (March 23), Megilligan got a 6-3 doubles win at the No. 2 spot to help clinch the doubles point for the team. In singles play, she won her first set 6-1, then got the win in the second set when her opponent was forced to forfeit due to injury.
The women's tennis squad plays three matches this week. Wednesday they play at MSU Denver before returning home and face Dixie State and Colorado Mesa. The matches against Dixie and Mesa will be played at East HS.
