Katy Zimmerman (So., Cypress, Tex.) had another strong showing this past weekend, as the sophomore utility swimmer raced her way to a combined five first-place finished. Zimmerman kicked off the Colorado College Classic with a dominating win in the 1650 freestyle off a time of 18:25.65, nearly a full minuted faster than the next-best finisher.

Zimmerman then claimed gold in the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke. She helped the Pack race to first-place finishes in the 800-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay. Her five first-place finishes allowed the ThunderWolves to claim second at the classic.
