Trey Vasquez (R-Jr., Greeley, Colo.) carried the ThunderWolves bats last week as the shortstop constantly found himself on base. Vasquez batted 8-for-17 and racked up two triples and a double while also totaling five RBI.

Vasquez's week was kicked off and highlighted by a 3-of-5 performance that featured an RBI and run scored against UCCS.

In the series finale against San Francisco State, Vasquez totaled four RBIs after he went 2-for-4 batting out of the three-hole.

The shortstop also racked up 10 assists and seven putouts from the field to lead the middle infield.

On the young season, Vasquez is batting .375 with a 1.100 OPS and ten RBI to go with a .600 slugging percentage.

The baseball team has the weekend off before returning to the diamond Monday and host St. Cloud State at 1 p.m. at Rawlings Field.
