Caelyn Gunn (Sr., Denton, Tex.) and Pack volleyball opened the year at the West Texas Invite and finished 1-3 for the weekend. Gunn played in all four matches and recorded a team-high 58 kills and earned a remarkable 4.46 kills per set. She totaled 47 digs and a 3.62 digs per set and two blocks.
For the weekend, Gunn registered double-digit kills in all four matches and in the weekend finale against Texas A&M International, a 3-0 shutout over the Dustdevils, Gunn had 20 kills and recorded a service ace in the match.
Up next for Pack volleyball, they return to Texas and will compete at the Lubbock Christian Invite. They will face-off against Lubbock Christian, Eastern New Mexico, Southwestern Oklahoma State and Lubbock Christian.
